Sepac Folder 2009 "Beautiful Corners of Europe 2" features Qbajjar MaltaPost p.l.c. would like to inform all Philatelists and Collectors that the folder “Beautiful Corners of Europe 2” issued by SEPAC (Small European Postal Administration Cooperation) will be available for sale from all MaltaPost Branches and from the Mobile Van as from Monday, the 19th of October 2009.

This is the second folder issued by Sepac and includes stamps and images from twelve European countries; Aland, Faroe Islands, Gibraltar, Greenland, Guernsey, Iceland, Isle of Man, Jersey, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta & Monaco.

The stamp representing Malta in this Folder is the Euro 0.37 Stamp from the “Scenery” Set which was issued in September 2009. This stamp depicts the stunning view of the saltpans at Qbajjar Gozo.

      Actually, three stamps of the four-value Scenery have Gozo views.
      But, to be exact (and rather pedantic!), the Saltpans are at Xwejni – further in from Qbajjar

      For some strange reason this folder was issued today while the rest of the SEPAC members issued it on the 16th September with their respective Scenery set. Can anyone from Maltapost clear this mess? We as philatelists deserve much better!
