Nominations for Youth of the Year Award – OASI Foundation

Throughout the year the OASI Foundation organises various activities for the enhancement of society as a whole.
Currently the Primary Prevention Team is working upon Youth of the Year, which is a national activity that organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Gozo and The National Youth Council, and aims is to encourage and publicly acknowledge the work done by youths through their various voluntary services for the good of others.
All organisations, clubs and agencies involved in voluntary work in the community can nominate their members, who fall into the age group 16 to 30 years of age, for this prestigious award.
All persons nominated will be personally and publicly acknowledged for their contribution and will be presented with a commemorative trophy and certificate.
The Award Giving Ceremony will be held under the patronage of H.E Dr. George Abela, and will end with the presentation of the Youth of the Year Shield to one of the nominees, who will be chosen from among all those nominated, to represent officially all the young volunteers in our society for the following 12 months.

Nominations should reach The Secretary, Organising Committee, Youth of the Year Award 2011, OASI Primary Prevention Unit, 5, Wied Sara Street, Victoria VCT 2963, Gozo, Malta. by not later than Friday the 2nd of September 2011.
The award giving ceremony will be held on the 26th of November 2011 at Ta’ Cenc Hotel, Sannat, Gozo.
