Ten students who joined BOV Club this scholastic year have won an Apple MacBook each under this year’s BOV Club Lottery. They were presented with their brand new computer by Edith Cachia, Head of Bank of Valletta’s Customer Service Centre during a presentation held at BOV Centre in Sta. Venera. All new BOV Club members attending post-secondary institutions or the University of Malta on a full-time basis, and who applied for BOV Club membership before the 31st October 2007, automatically participated in the lottery.
Speaking during the presentation Ms Cachia said that, “BOV Club members benefit from a tailor-made package of services designed by BOV to assist the student during the years spent at University and other education institutions.” Congratulating the students on winning the Apple MacBook, which featured as the star prize in this year’s promotion, she said that the Bank hoped that the Apple MacBook would come in handy in supporting the students’ success in their academic studies.
“The BOV Club lottery is just one way through which Bank of Valletta seeks to reward customer loyalty amongst the student segment. Our commitment is to be supportive towards students and to take a long-term approach to customer relationships,” concluded Mrs. Cachia.
Students who joined BOV Club before 31st October 2007 were also eligible to a range of gifts, including a Voucher from Fossil or a Free 1GB USB Stick together with a 50 DVD Spindle. Students were also able to choose from an iPod Shuffle; a Benq 6-Mega Pixel Digital Camera; an HP Deskjet All-In-One Printer, Scanner, Copier and an iPod Nano at highly reduced prices.
