St Joseph Band Club invested €260,000 over last 6 years

The St Joseph Band of Ghajnsielem invested over €260,000 during the last six years in capital projects, musical instruments, publications and feast decorations. This was announced by Club Secretary Kevin Cauchi during its Annual General Meeting.
The meeting started with an introduction by President Gino Cauchi who said that 2012 was an important year for the club and one that would be long remembered by the St Joseph Band club particularly due to the inauguration of the long-awaited Musical Archive and formal committee hall.
The President also spoke about the success of the art exhibition held on the premises of Emvin Cremona and Willie Apap, as well as the Feast of St Cecilia, which last year was celebrated in Ghajnsielem.
Club Secretary Kevin Cauchi presented a detailed administrative analysis of all recently completed projects including the Musical Archive and Committee Hall which amounted to an investment of over €75,000, the excavation works for the new store and kitchen area, the new ‘Mahzen tal-Armar’ and renovation of the formal committee room.
Treasurer Elvin Tabone presented the financial report and also gave an updated on the installation of 27kWp Photovoltaic System on the roof terrace of the club premises which will completed in the next few weeks.
Spiritual Director Fr Joe Cardona concluded the session with some reflections and prayers. The present administration was re-elected for the next two years.
