Parts of Victoria in Gozo were today turned into a film set from the 1970’s. Gozitan Michael Tabone, is the guiding force behind promoting the beautiful island of Gozo as a film making destination. In order to do just that, Michael has written his own film script, ‘Three Generations Down’ which is presently under production in Gozo. The film is based in 1978 and the many extras that turned up for today’s scenes were dressed for the period, with filming taking place around the Astra Theatre, in a typical ‘English Town Scene’ and an ‘English Bank Scene.’
The filming attracted large crowds of locals and tourists who all enjoyed the chance to see the scenes under production.
Photographs by Alain Salvary of some of today’s filming underway.
