Victoria Scout Group 50th anniversary celebrations continue

As part of the celebrations commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Victoria Scout Group, the group will be holding an exhibition depicting its history, at the Exhibition Hall of the Ministry for Gozo, St Francis Square, Victoria.
The exhibition will have on display a large number of scout craft which is currently used by the group, as well as over the past 50 years. There will be hundreds of photographs of the group charting its history throughout the 50 years, and lots more.
The exhibition will be inaugurated by the Minister for Gozo, Dr Anton Refalo, on Friday evening, the 20th of September. The exhibition will remain open until Saturday, the 28th of September, between the hours of 8.30am and 12.45pm.
The anniversary commemoration continues on Sunday, the 6th of October, when the group is organising a Thanksgiving Mass with the Bishop of Gozo at 10.30am at the Gozo Cathedral, which will be followed by a parade through the streets of Victoria.
The Chief Scout, Chief Commissioner and other officials from the Scout Association and Maltese Scout groups, as well as Government representatives and a Scout band will be present.
After the parade, the Minister for Gozo will unveil a commemorative plaque at the Victoria Scout Group headquarters.
