Education Ministry announces savings on cost of State School uniforms

The Government has said in a statement today that price reductions of around 10% have been achieved for school uniforms for children in State Schools for the coming scholastic year.
A public consultation had taken place by the Education Ministry, where parents of children at State Schools were given a survey. The results showed that the parents wanted uniforms to remain, but prices should be reduced without losing any quality in the uniform.
The Government said that these new prices were agreed following a public consultations between the Directorate for Educational Services and Yorkie Clothing, the company the provides school uniforms.
The prices for uniforms of Gozo College are €216.50, down by €12.98 on the price from 2011.
