‘New Works’ – Exhibition by Paul Stellini at Heart of Gozo museum

‘New Works’ is the title of an exhibition of drawings and paintings by Paul Stellini which will be taking place in the foyer of Il-Hagar| Heart of Gozo museum premises at St.George’s Square, Victoria, Gozo.
The Minister for Gozo, D. Anton Refalo, will officially open the exhibition on Saturday, the 9th of August. It will then be open for the public between Sunday, the 10th of August and Friday, the 5th of September, Monday to Sunday: 9.00am to 5.30pm.
Paul A. Stellini was born in Sydney, Australia but returned with his family to their native island of Gozo, Malta at age four.
Mr. Stellini studied drawing under the tuition of renowned Gozitan artist Paul Camilleri Cauchi as well as design with Anthony Calleja.
In 2005 he graduated from the Art’s Institute in New York after reading for a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design.
Currently he teaches graphical communications at the Agius de Soldanis Girls Junior Lyceum and art at the Wistin Camilleri, Gozo Centre for Arts and Crafts.
His works can be found in private collections all around the globe. Suffice it to say that the some of his works can be found in the private collections of the English soccer stars Michael Owen, Phil Neal and David Fairclough and Irish actor Gabriel Byrne.
Besides being an artist, Mr Stellini is also an interior designer and in fact he has carried out endless tasks for local restaurants and businesses and even private homes.
Over these past years Mr Stellini was also commissioned to carry out artist’s impressions and designs for various landscaping and embellishment projects around the Island of Gozo. His latest project was the interior design of the Gozo Channel Mgarr Terminal.
The Museum extends an invitation to the public to attend and view the exhibition which is free of charge.
