The Gozo University Group has created an information booklet for Gozitan students attending the University in Malta to help the new students settle in quickly, the publication of which was supported by the Ministry for Education.
The booklet contains all the information required for students residing in Malta, as well as providing basic information, such as where to go for an evening walk, what to do if you find yourself looking for an apartment and other such useful information.
The booklet also explains the credit system, which is something that often confuses first year students.
A map of the Msida area is provided in the booklet highlighting important places such as supermarkets, hairdressers and pharmacies.
For students who are not familiar with the GUG executive members and may wish to seek their assistance, the booklet also contains their names and photographs.
This booklet was passed out to all Gozitan students visiting the GUG stand on Campus and a similar booklet was also published for students attending sixth form in Gozo, containing information applicable to them.
