Prof. Joseph Friggieri interviewed on latest edition of Mill-Campus ta’ Ghawdex

‘Mill-Campus ta’ Ghawdex,’ the Gozo University Group radio programme returned for another edition on Friday evening.
For this programme there was an interview with Prof. Joseph Friggieri, the Gozo Campus pro rector. Historical information was given on Nadur, and the interesting biography of Gorg Pisani (1909-1999), a poet from Victoria.
Pisani was also an official at the Department of Information and he played a determining part in the wheat gathering campaign during World War II, that helped Malta to keep its ground against the enemy.
For several years, Pisani taught Maltese at the Gozo Lyceum. In 1992, Gorg Pisani was honoured with the Medal for Service to the Republic in recognition of his work and contribution in favour of Malta and Gozo.
The weekly programme, with presenter of the show Eman Borg, aims to deal with different themes and aspects related to Gozo and Gozitans. Interesting historical facts, personalities, biographies regarding Gozitan personalities and open discussions that will tackle everyday issues handled by Gozitan youths, through a wide array of guests.
Mill-Campus ta’Ghawdex is aired every Friday at 8.30pm with a repetition the following Saturday from 12.30pm onwards on Campus FM 103.7 FM.
