Commercial community join together for Christmas in Gozo activitiesThe Minister for Gozo Anton Refalo has announced that 65 commercial operators have responded to a call made by the Christmas in Gozo Committee, and confirmed their support for the initiatives being taken for this Christmas season in Gozo.

“With the contribution of these, together with financial support, human resources, management and the public relations of the Ministry for Gozo, we have a programme filled with activities spread across Gozo.”

“When the committee was appointed, which is headed by Dr Joe Mifsud, he nominated Maria Farrugia and Abraham Said to contribute ideas, along with a representative of the GTA and GBC.

These new activities in Gozo will include a Christmas Village, The Gozitano Agricultural Village will be hosting a series of events linked to Christmas, as well as a great activity taking place for children ‘Dinja tat-Tfal – Hallu t-Tfal Jigu Ghandi’ – A children’s fun park is being held at Gozo Sports Complex, Victoria, to give children the opportunity to meet their favourite Disney characters and enjoy a variety of activities such as rock climbs, merry-go- rounds, bouncy castles, train, pony and rodeo rides

The committee ensured that starting from this week until the 4th of January, there are various activities every weekend, which of course includes Bethlehem f’Ghajnsielem.

The Christmas in Gozo Committee received the support of 47 hotels and restaurants, 14 lead supporters and 4 partners. The four commercial partners that joined the Christmas in Gozo Committee are Arkadia, David’s Bakery, The Duke and Vini and Capricci.
