In light of the latest developments in the UK and the outcome of the referendum result for a Brexit, the Government, as announced by Prime Minister Joseph Muscat, has launched a freephone number – 153 – to assist the public in any difficulties or questions which they may have.
The Government said that they are anticipating questions about medical care, Maltese citizens moving to the UK, the education of Maltese students, pensions, Maltese working in the UK or British Nationals who are in Malta.
“Although nothing is expected to change before negotiations start with the European Union next September, individuals are welcome to clarify any doubts that they may have on the freephone number provided.”
Besides the freephone, there are Government regional service centres in Paola, Birkirkara and Qawra or contact via e-mail at email@example.com.
