Project – ARTruistic360°…Rebranding Volunteering launched in Zebbug

The Saint Mary Philharmonic Society of Zebbug Gozo, said that it is proud to announce the launch of the Project – ARTruistic360°…Rebranding Volunteering.
The Society said that in response to the challenges posed on voluntary organisations to engage and manage volunteers, this project consists of a number of actions, such as the launch of the TeeNsClub, the organisation of a number of professional workshops for volunteers in various organisations, the design and setting of a multipurpose theatre/performance stage, the setting up of videoconferencing facility and also the setting up a permanent exhibition, focusing mainly on the different perspectives of volunteering.
"These initiatives target to rebrand, enrich and celebrate volunteering Thanks to this project, the Society seeks to stimulate awareness of the value and importance of volunteering as a form of active engagement and as a tool to develop or improve competences for personal, social and professional development," it said.
The aim of the project is also to encourage a culture of volunteering and the participation in volunteering activities among people, especially children and youths.
This project, which is taking place between July and December this year, is being funded through the Voluntary Organisations Project Scheme managed by the Ministry for Social Dialogue, Consumer Affairs and Civil Liberties, administered on its behalf by the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector.
