4G+ starting in Gozo today, launched by Vodafone MaltaVodafone Malta has announced that is launching superfast 4G+ internet speeds in Gozo as from today.

Vodafone is giving away 210 free SIM cards, each containing 1GB of internet, to allow Gozitans to try it out.

All Gozitans are welcome to pick up their free SIM card with 1GB of free internet from the Vodafone store at Arkadia, Victoria, today between 9am and 1pm and 4pm and 7pm, or tomorrow, between 9am and 2pm.

The company said that 4G+ enables an online experience which is up to 60 per cent faster than 4G. With download speeds of up to 210 Mbps.

Vodafone Malta’s Head of Technology Sheila Kavanagh said, “whether it’s at university, work, home or while out and about, mobile customers are constantly using their mobile devices to do more – and they want their data speeds to be fast and reliable.”

She added that, “furthermore, this launch is also a showcase of investment and innovation in Gozo. It’s often mentioned that Gozo deserves more attention and investment – now the best comes to Gozo first.”

Customers with compatible phones will not need to do anything to access the 4G+ network as their phones will automatically select settings for the best performance, the company said.
