Members of the 1st Hamrun Group recently visited Gozo on a cultural, educational and social tour. The contingent of 52 members came from the Group’s Beaver Colony, Cub Scout Pack, and the Scout Troop.
The scouts, accompanied by the respective sections’ leaders, participated in holy Mass at the Ta’ Pinu National Shrine.
This was followed by a walk around Victoria, which included the recently restored bastions of the walled Cittadella.
The Group said that the enjoyable day was capped off afterwards with time at Ramla l-Hamra Bay.
Registered in 1913, the 1st Hamrun Scout Group forms part of the Central District within the Scout Association of Malta, and it has over a 100 members of all ages.
