Explore the craft of lace making at the Gozo Lace Day on Sunday

This Sunday, the 22nd annual Gozo Lace Day, is taking place at the University of Malta – Gozo Campus, between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
There will be a large variety of activities to interest visitors at this very popular event.
Organised by the Lace Making Programme at the University of Malta, some of the attractions will include exhibitions and demonstrations relating to Maltese lacemaking.
Local lace makers are invited to sit with their own pillows to join others in lace making, as well as have the opportunity to share their experiences.
There will be a talk by Dr Consiglia Azzopardi; Award of Certificates; Launching of new Lace Day 2018 patterns and souvenir bookmark of Blue Window.
Stands there on the day will be by the Lace Guild – OIDFA – Koperattiva Griawdxija tal-Binilla u Artigjanat – and the Lace Making Programme,
The event is open to the general public and entrance is free of charge.
