Honey & Bee Festival in Gozo - Support local beekeepers and produceIf you are in Gozo this weekend, then why not buzz along to the Villa Rundle Gardens in Victoria on Saturday and visit the Honey & Bee Festival – Supporting Gozo, with genuine produce.

The Festival – Ghawdex Art Il-Ghasel – will be open all day from 10am till 6pm, where visitors will be able to find honey inspired goods, an interactive art and craft station (fast pass for holders of special identity card) music, beekeeping classes, food vendors and the promise of plenty of fun for all.

The European Food Safety Authority earlier this year said that “it is a well-known fact that the bee population, especially in Europe, is declining at an alarming rate.”

Bees are vital for a resilient, thriving natural environment and for stable, healthy food supplies including the varied, colourful and nutritious diets.

So visit the Villa Rundle on Saturday and support local beekeepers, their bees, and genuine Gozitan honey.
