Update: Explore the beauty of nature at – Dwejra Looking Beyond

Update with additional information – This month, there will be a day of activities in connection with – Dwejra Looking Beyond – organised by the Ministry for Gozo.
This is the second time the event will be held and this year it is taking place on Sunday, the 10th of March, between 11am and 4pm, and the location of course, is Dwejra.
There will be plenty of activities to keep everyone interested, all focused on this beautiful area, including free boat rides at the Inland Sea, informative walks, diving demonstrations, a photography exhibition, treasure hunt, informational and educational sessions from experts in the field of flora, fauna and geology that can be found in the Dwejra area. There will also be a abseiling and archery sessions and a voluntary clean-up, with the collaboration of the ERRC and Victoria Scouts.
Prof. Lafranco will give an explanation on the geological formation of the Dwejra area, including some surprise special effects.
Various photographs will be exhibited by the Ministry for Gozo during the event, with Dwejra as the subject, highlighting the natural beauty of the site that has thrilled the many thousands of visitors through the years.
The public are also being invited to submit their own photographs of Dwejra by following the information online that can be found by clicking here including terms and conditions. The final date for submission is Monday, the 4th of March, at noon.
The Ministry for Gozo will be providing a free park and ride service from the San Lawrenz Primary School ground to Dwejra and back. The service will be provided every half hour from 10am till 4pm.
Public transport will also be available – bus number 311 from Victoria to Dwejra.
