Family event and debate with MEP candidates for Europe Day in Gozo

A reminder that tomorrow, there is the opportunity to enjoy a Family Day at the Villa Rundle Gardens in Victoria, to Mark Europe Day, starting from 2pm.
The Europe Direct Information Centre – Victoria (EDIC) is organising the event which includes a debate, details of which can be found below.
The Alegria Dance Company, Team Netta/Kids, Mnarja Folk Group (Nadur), The Turning Pointe Dance Theatre, the Gozo Gymnastics Academy dance groups and the DCapitals Big Band, will be providing the entertainment.
For the children there will be plenty of fun and laughter from Buzzy Kids Entertainment with a bouncy castle, as well as an inflatable sports pitch, face/hand painting, balloon modelling, and Children’s crafts by Bejta Artisan at The Ta’ Nikol Gallery.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to try some samples of foods from different countries, served up by the Institute Of Tourism Studies – ITS Gozo.
Various EU information stands, WasteServ Gozo and the Gozo Central Public Library will also be present. Free promotional material and EU publications will be available
The Association of Gozitan Workers in Malta (AGEM), in collaboration with EDIC Victoria, is organising a debate for the occasion of Europe Day.
Europe Day – Debate in Gozo, is taking place this coming coming Sunday, the 28th of April , at the Villa Rundle Gardens, from 5pm till 6:30pm.
European Parliament candidates from different political parties will be debating on several themes. Such as why people should vote, what powers the European Parliament have, how the European Commission President is chosen, Gozo and its regionality, etc.
Everyone is invited to attend.
