“We consider ourselves as the underdogs going into this final, however we have already beaten the Hotspurs’ this season and we are convinced that we have what it takes to win this major competition,” he said.
Victoria Hotspurs coach Gotthard Conti said that he believed that the team “is in very fine form.”
“This cup has eluded us since 1997 – we are in a prime position to break this negative record and lift the trophy this year. We are in the best of form this year, and we will be facing our biggest rivals this year during this final.”
Hotspurs Captain Ferdinando Apap commented, “although we have already beaten Nadur twice this season, we are not looking back at these statistics but will be doing our utmost for the double.”
