Perfect track conditions for GMCA Championship 10th and final roundThe Gozo Model Car Association Championship 2018-2019 10th and final round was held at the GMCA Ta’ Xhajma Track.on Saturday, organised by the GMCA.

The organisers said that the track conditions were very good having rained the day before it meant that the track provided high grip for the rc cars.

In the final of the Truggies Class, Christian Farrugia was placed first with 30 laps with a Mugen Chassis and a Novarossi Engine taking 10 points. He was followed by Miguel Attard on 28 laps with a Agama Chassis and a Novarossi Engine who received 8 points. Third place was won by Anthony Camilleri also on 28 laps with a Mugen Chassis and a Bullit Engine.

Christian Farrugia won the Truggy Championship with 61 points, followed by Miguel Attard and Mark Zammit with 45 points.Perfect track conditions for GMCA Championship 10th and final roundIn the final of the Buggies Class, Miguel Attard placed first on 27 laps with an Intech chassis and an Alpha Engine taking 10 points. He was followed by Andrew Zammit on 25 laps with a Hongnor chassis and a Sirio Engine who received 8 points. Third place was won by Gary Barber on 23 laps with a Mugen Chassis and a Novarossi Engine.

The Buggy Championship was won by Andrew Zammit with 55 points. He was followed by Miguel Attard with 52 points. Third place was Gary Barber with 37 points.Perfect track conditions for GMCA Championship 10th and final roundAt the end of the day the winners of the final event – sponsored by 4wheelhobby Malta – had their photograph taken on the podium to the applause of their fellow competitors and supporters.

Next Sunday, the 12th of May, the Final of the Mega Event Season for 2019 will be held at the GMCA Ta’ Xhajma Track, starting at 8.00am.

Following the races the winners of the Mega Event Championship and the GMCA Championship will be presented with their trophies on the podium.
