The Villa Rundle Gardens in Victoria is getting ready to welcome visitors to next month’s Honey & Bee Fest – Providing another opportunity for us all to support Gozo’s beekeepers and of course their precious bees.
This second edition of the Fest is taking place as part of the Gozo Pops and Rocks programme of events over the long weekend of the Sette Giugno Public Holiday, between Thursday, the 6th and Sunday, the 9th of June
So during your time in Gozo why not buzz along to the Villa Rundle Gardens in Victoria, where you will find honey inspired goods, local craft, educational stalls, music, beekeeping classes, food vendors and the promise of plenty of fun for all.
The European Food Safety Authority said recently that “it is a well-known fact that the bee population, especially in Europe, is declining at an alarming rate.”
Bees are vital for a resilient, thriving natural environment and for stable, healthy food supplies including the varied, colourful and nutritious diets.
Saturday, the 8th of June, is the date to keep free for a visit to the Villa Rundle Gardens between 10am and 6pm, to show your support to local beekeepers, their bees, genuine Gozitan honey and local artisans.
