Dangerous concrete boulders have been removed from Hondoq Bay by a Transport Malta contractor.
The work was carried out on Thursday morning in this picturesque Gozo Bay overlooking Comino.
Transport Malta explained that they were a potential danger for divers who could have hit the boulders when jumping in from the shore.
The boulders ended up at the bay following one of the major storms that hit the islands over the past months.
Transport Malta said that its contractor used a specialised crane to lift the boulders from the sea bed.
