The Nationalist Party has welcomed the news that the Planning Tribunal rejected the appeal for development in Hondoq.
In a joint statement, Opposition Spokesperson for Gozo Alex Borg and the Spokesperson for Planning Stanley Zammit, said that the PN has been stressing for years that the Government should acquire this land and make it a national park.
“Gozitan families deserve to enjoy the beauty of this island instead of suffering years more dust and traffic congestion,” they said.
The Nationalist Party invited the government – “if it really is in favour of the protection of open spaces, to put their words to action.”

Excuse me !
20 years of ” fighting ” about Hondoq ?
20 years ago , the National Party was on power .
So why “you ” change your position NOW ?
To get more votes in the next Election , or you realy change your mind ?
