The Management of Gozo Channel, has said that “in weather like today, it is never going to be easy for the company to continue operating the ferry service.”
Writing in a Facebook post, the company added that, “when the service stops this is not the fun of the company, but is done because the health of the passengers comes first and foremost.”
The company while thanking its employees for the work they are doing in these difficult circumstances, said that it “will continue to do everything it can to ensure that the service between the islands continues.”
It said that “due to bad weather forecast, Gozo Channel ferry operations may be delayed or even cancelled today.”
