Mayor of Zebbug Dr Marlene Cini and Vice Mayor Sandra Grech, have been in Lanuvi, Italy, where after 7 years the friendship pact between the two localitieswas renewed.
Partnership in Right and Inclusion for Democracy in Europe (P.R.I.D.E) is the title of the project co-financed by the European Union through which they will see that the civil rights and inclusion in European democracy of the residents of the two localities are strengthened.
Mayor Dr Marlene Cini said that “through the various activities that were organised, our residents and those of Lanuvio got to know each other better and shared their experiences together.”
“We thank the Mayor Andrea Volpi, the Vice-Mayor and the Councilors of Lanuvio who were very instrumental in making this exchange possible. We also thank the participants who made this exchange another positive experience,” Dr Cini said.
