There was 1 new death. The total number from the start of the pandemic is 823.
Active cases in Malta and Gozo now stands at 317. This brings the number of cases in the Maltese Islands since the start to 116,894.
There were 293 tests taken over the last 24 hours resulting in a positivity rate of 4.10%.
The Health Department said that tests carried out at home are not included in the figures.
