Nationalist Party Leader Bernard Grech during a news conference in light of the judgement given this morning by the Court on the hospital deal, thanked Adrian Delia for his work in this case.
Grech stated that “those who abused and stole should face justice. This is even in light of the fact that the Court decided to annul the agreement of the three hospitals because it was made with a fraudulent contract.”
He reiterated that Robert Abela and his Government “continued to defend the corrupt and the fraudsters. On the other hand, the Nationalist Party will continue to work for all the Maltese and Gozitan people to bring out the truth.”
Adrian Delia said that today Malta won because justice won. He stressed that with what came out of the Court today, a “legal history was written that will continue to be told for future generations and a legal history that exposed the blatant theft fro the people on a corrupt contract signed by a Labour Government.”
PN MP Stephen Spiteri said that Maltese Health won today because the people won back hospitals that were stolen from the people. He stressed that such a decision will now be removing a contract that was saving the Maltese and Gozitan people money.
