The Malta Federation of Organisations Persons with Disability (MFOPD) attended and participated at the 5th European Parliament of Persons with Disability held on Tuesday.
Ms Gayle Mugliette presented her speech on behalf of MFOPD.
She mentioned her positive experience of being supported by a Personal Assistant, voiced her wish for all persons with disability to benefit from this assistance without any problems and mentioned the fact that some persons with disability in Malta are still not exercising their right to vote in secrecy.
MFOPD also publicly thanked Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament and MEP, David Casa for their support.
