The National Blood Transfusion Service said that blood is precious and the need for more is constant. Giving blood is an essential service, so please help to “renew somebody’s hope to live…give blood!”
The Service is again urging Gozitans to show their solidarity and please support sick patients in the hospitals of Gozo and Malta by making a donation on one of the four dates that are shown below during June.
Donations can be made at the District Health Centre in Xewkija, located in Triq tall- Hamrija, between the Primary School and the Bocci Club:
Sundays – last registration 1:00pm
4th June from 8:00am-1:00pm
18th June from 8:00am-1:00pm
Tuesdays – last registration 5:00pm
13th June 1:00pm to 5:00pm
27th June 1:00pm to 5:00pm.
Important notes from the National Blood Transfusion Service to avoid wasting time
The Service reminds everyone that it is very important to always take your Identity Card, or Driving License or Maltese Passport and to drink plenty of water beforehand.
As usual, please wear a mask when attending the clinic.
