Zminijietna has urged Parliament for a moratorium on building permits that fall under ‘2006 rationalisation scheme.’
The Left think-tank organisation, in a statement said, “the authorised period should serve as an access for further studies that focus on land use; the social, economic and environmental aspect; and agriculture.”
“After this process, Zminijietna suggests that the Government should consider purchasing land that is of high environmental and agricultural value through the Passport scheme,” added Zminijietna.
“If nothing is done, the effect on the environment and the surrounding communities will be devastating,” insisted Zminijietna – Voice of the Left.
