According to latest data issued by the National Statistics Office today, registered full-time employment in January increased by 8.6% over January 2022.
The NSO noted that part-time employment as a primary job registered an increase of 4.0% over the same period in the previous year.
Administrative and support service activities and accommodation and food service activities were the activities with the highest increases in full-time employment.
Private sector full-time employment increased by 11.1% over a period of one year, while public sector full-time employment decreased by 1.0% since January last year.
The NSO said that full-time employment for males and females went up by 9.2% and 7.7% respectively over 2022 levels.
