Health Minister Chris Fearne has said that, preparation work is underway to issue a tender for the purchase of a new MRI machine for the Gozo General Hospital.
Dr Fearne was replying to a Parliamentary Question by Opposition MP Chris Said, on what type of equipment is expected to be purchased by co-financing from European Union funds for Gozo General Hospital this year and when the tender is to be issued.
The Health Minister said that “preparation work is underway to issue a tender for the purchase of a new MRI machine for the Gozo Hospital.” No timescale was given.
