A reminder that this Saturday, the beautiful hilltop village of Xaghra will be once again be hosting the Fig Festival – the 11th edition.
Victory Square will be the setting for a celebration of figs and culinary talent – combined with musical entertainment for all ages, making it a wonderfu family event.
There will be musical accompaniment by George Curmi Il-Puse, folk dances, as well as children’s entertainment to name but a few…..
Organised by the Xaghra Local Council, with the support of the Ministry for Gozo and EcoGozo, the festival gets underway from 7pm onwards, on Saturday, the 24th of June.
Admission to the event is free of charge.
