A fireworks display with a difference – Flames Across the Meadows – is being presented by the Kercem Fire Group next week to mark the village feast of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, which this year will be celebrated on Sunday, the 9th of July.
This year’s 5th edition will feature a large model of Tower Bridge, London, creating a spectacle of fireworks. The structure will be 60 feet wide and 45 feet high.
This special event is taking place next Saturday, the 8th of July, starting at 10.45pm, in Kalandrijiet Street, Kercem. A ground fireworks display will follow at 12.00am.
