A red – Take Action – warning has been issued by the Malta Met Office for today, with the maximum temperature expected to reach 40°C on Tuesday.
Last week the Health Department issued a warning [1] to the public on the expected high temperatures with advice on measures to take to help minimise the impact of this hot weather.
We at Gozo News also issued information [2] on help for pets, other animals and birds, who desperately need everyones help to survive through this period of hot weather.
