A 24-year old female motorcyclist sustained grievous injuries after being involved in a collision with a car in Munxar on Saturday.
Police said that the accident happened at around midday in Punici Street.
The collision was between a Yamaha Crypton bike being ridden by the woman and a Nissan Qashqai, being driven by a 71-year old man. Both are from Munxar.
The was given first assistance at the scene before being taken to the Gozo General Hospital.
Police investigations are ongoing.
