British motorcyclist dies from injuries sustained in accident

The British motorcyclist who was involved in an accident with a car in the early hours of last Sunday morning has died from his injuries.

The man aged 47 was in collision with a car while travelling along Triq ir-Rabat, between Marsalforn and Victoria. He had been taken by helicopter from Gozo General Hospital to Mater Dei Hospital in Malta.
