The 2024 creative writing competition has been launched by Gozo Live.
This competition is open to students who attend any school or college in Gozo.
Entries for the Gozo Live/Gozo College Award Writing Competition must be either a story, essay, poem or play in English on one of the two following themes: Friendship, or a Fairy Tale with a Twist.
“Entries should be as creative as possible. We are looking for very original ideas on the themes,” the organisers said.
They added that, all entries should be written by one student, apart from the plays which can be written by a group of up to 5 students.
The closing date is Friday, the 26th of April, but entries can be submitted as soon as they are ready. Each entry should have the full name of the student, the name of the school attended and the age or year of the student.
The organisers said that “generous prizes” will be awarded.
