A 30-year old man from Cape Verde and living in Msida, was arraigned in the Gozo Court on Saturday regarding a series of thefts over the past few months from localities across the Maltese Islands.
Police said that “intensive investigations” in relation to several cases of thefts from fuel stations, lotto offices and and a hardware store situated in several localities around Gozo and Malta, led to the arrest of the man.
The man appeared before Magistrate Simone Grech and pleaded guilty to all the charges. Sentencing is expected to take place later this month.
