A set of 15 handmade wool blankets, completed by the Munxar community in Gozo, were recently donated to the OASI Foundation of Victoria.
Since 1991, the OASI Foundation has worked tirelessly to assist persons dealing with issues such as addiction, while also promoting a healthy lifestyle through educational, cultural and sports events for the community.
The Munxar Parish Priest and a representation from the group of ladies behind this initiative were at the presentation.
The HSBC Malta Foundation is supporting the Munxar community to produce more of these blankets to be donated to a number of NGO’s in the coming months.
Last year the Munxar community [1] distributed 80 handmade wool blankets to a number of NGOs with the support of the HSBC Malta Foundation.
