12 Oratory Youths F.C nursery players at Torino FC training camp

A group of 12 players who train in the academy of Oratory Youths F.C. are currently in Turin, where, at the invitation of Torino FC, they are attending a training camp with this Italian club.

A presentation of kits were made to the nursery players during a special evening attended by Minister for Gozo and Planning Clint Camilleri.

The Minister remarked that such exchanges between clubs “are useful for our young people to train and compete on an international level.”

He added that “as a Ministry, we assist as far as possible, in order to give the opportunity to these athletes and others.”

Oratory Youths FC extended its heartfelt thanks to Minister Camilleri and said that “these young players will proudly wear these special kits during the training camp in Italy with Torino FC, representing not just our club, but also Gozo.”

“This fantastic opportunity for our youngsters has been made possible through the generous sponsorship of the Ministry for Gozo, in collaboration with the VisitGozo.com brand,” the club said.

The 12 nursery players are on a five-day training camp at Torino FC’s professional facilities in Prato Nevoso, Cuneo, starting today – Saturday.

The players are accompanied by coaches Raymond Attard and Mark Sacco, who were invited by the Torino FC Academy.

The club said, “we believe this experience will leave a lasting impression on these talented footballers, enriching their skills on the field and imparting valuable life lessons off the field.”

“At Oratory Youths FC we are dedicated to nurturing our nursery players, helping them grow as athletes and individuals in a safe environment,” the club said. “We prioritise their holistic development and aim to instill valuable life skills alongside their football training.”
