Next Tuesday and Wednesday, a production team will be St Francis Square, Victoria working on the fourth season of the British television series – Madame Blanc.
The Ministry for Gozo and Planning said that this popular production has become synonymous with Gozo, as the absolute majority of the content was produced on the island during the three seasons shown on Channel 5 (Paramount Global).
“It is gratifying that among all the islands in the Mediterranean, it was precisely Gozo that was chosen by the Directors for four years in a row,” the Ministry said. “This brings a direct injection of capital and work in Gozo, while serving as a showcase for other productions and promotion of the island.”
The Ministry went on to say that, “while we see all this through a positive lens, we have asked that as much as possible the inconvenience is minimised for the public.”
