30 veterinary professionals have received their warrants, acknowledging their essential contribution to public health, animal health, and welfare in Malta.
The presentation ceremony celebrated the dedication and sacrifices made by veterinarians, many of whom have pursued rigorous studies both locally and abroad, and some who have chosen to offer their services in Malta, away from their home countries.??
In his address, Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Animal Rights Anton Refalo highlighted the veterinarians’ tireless work in maintaining animal health and advocating for animal welfare.
He also acknowledged the challenges faced by the veterinary profession, expressing gratitude for their continued commitment to the wellbeing of animals and society.
“This ceremony serves as a testament to the appreciation Malta has for its veterinary community, as these newly warranted professionals continue to ensure the health and safety of both animals and humans,” concluded Minister Anton Refalo.
