The Left think tank organisation Zminijietna has urged the Planning Authority Board to reject the sanctioning of illegal pools in Qala’s ODZ.
Zminijietna added that, “this application was revoked by the courts [1] in March of this year. This was achieved thanks to the pressure exerted by Moviment Graffitti [2], together with Qala residents, the local council and other various organisations.”
“The Government should do more to protect the environment, said Zminijietna. “Malta is in need of a proper legislation that seriously protects outside development zones areas (ODZ).”
“Development applications are still being proposed on ODZ areas,” concluded Zminijietna – Voice of the Left.
