The Gozo Regional Council has distributed around 1,000 re-usable water bottles to school students in Victoria.
The GRC said that as part of its active campaign to decrease single-use plastic and increase reusable products, it distributed approximately 1000 reusable water bottles to students attending Gozo College Ninu Cremona Secondary School and Gozo College Agius De Soldanis Middle School.
The bottles were co-funded by the EcoHive Malta Waste Reduction Awards 2024 and the Gozo Regional Council. The GRC said it is committed to creating a better environment.
“The bottles will be perfect for use to students as both schools have recently installed water fountains,” the GRC added.
