Today’s data from the National Statistics Office have revealed that 128,043 tourists visited Gozo during November, this was 48.7% of total tourists (262,896).
The total number of tourists visiting Gozo for the first eleven months of the year, including both same-day and overnight visitors, totalled 1,959,850, or 58.1% of total tourists (3,371,249).
On a national basis, total inbound tourists for November were estimated at 262,896, an increase of 20.7% when compared to the corresponding month in 2023.
Total nights spent amounted to 1,708,769, and total expenditure surpassed €241.0 million.
British, Italian and Polish residents made up 44.0% of total inbound tourists, the NSO said.
The largest share of guest nights (89.8%) was spent in rented accommodation establishments.
The NSO noted that inbound tourists for the first eleven months of this year amounted to 3,371,249, while total nights spent almost reached 21.7 million.
Total tourism expenditure for the period January-November was estimated at €3.2 billion, while expenditure per capita stood at €935.
