There will be the opportunity to discover Gozo’s natural beauty with BirdLife Malta’s Events and Activities Committee.
The public is invited to join them for an “energising morning walk and explore amazing landscapes of Gozo.”
Starting from Mgarr Harbour, participants will follow a scenic route to the bay of Mgarr ix-Xini, before continuing toward the oldest village of Gozo – Xewkija.
The organisers said that this route offers a mix of stunning views and a bit of adventure, with some rough terrain, steep inclines, and places that may be slippery if wet. “Comfortable, sturdy footwear is recommended!”
This nature walk in Gozo will be on Sunday, the 16th of February, from 10am to 2pm.
“We will be meeting participants at Mgarr Harbour (outside the entrance to the Gozo Channel Ferry terminal building) at 9:45am and start the walk at 10:00am, BirdLife Malta said..
The organisers advised that they “are not organising lunch or return transport? to the ferry after the walk.”
