The Parliamentary Secretariat for the Elderly and Community Care has announced that the first delivery of the swine flu vaccine A(H1N1) is expected tonight. This delivery will contain 100,000 vaccine that will be taken immediately to the Government Medical Stores.
From tomorrow the vaccination process will begin for all worker health, both those employed with the Government and private sector.
From Saturday all those who have chronic illnesses and pregnant women, will be given the vaccine at local health clinics. More details on the times they will be available will be issued during this week.
The government is also appealing for those who have the virus to stay at home to prevent the flu from spreading.
