Adrian Delia has submitted his declaration of interest for the election of the Leader of the Nationalist Party.
The Electoral, Records and Data Commission of the Partit Nazzjonalista said that it received the declaration this morning at 10:30am.
The Commission advised that, as stipulated in Article 90a of the Statute of the PN, the call for expressions of interest for this role remains open for seven days, until tomorrow, Sunday, the 29th of June, at 2pm.
Only paid-up members of the Nationalist Party, in line with the provisions of the Party Statute, are eligible to contest this position.
To date, the only other person that has officially declared an interest to serve as PN Leader is Gozitan MP Alex Borg. [1]
The Electoral, Records and Data Commission of the PN will immediately make public the names of all individuals who express their interest, by issuing a media statement with each declaration received.
